Comprehensive Speech & Language EvaluationIncludes caregiver interview, observation, formal standardized assessment of speech and language skills, written report with scores (can be shared with school), individualized plan of care with goals targeting specific areas of need, review of results with parent, and list of strategies for implementation at home.

Speech & Language TherapySpeech & Language therapy sessions are typically scheduled 1-2 times per week for 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions.
Recommendation for frequency and session length are determined following initial evaluation. Therapy directly targets goals outlined in the evaluation and includes caregiver coaching. |
Consultation
For some children, a consultative model is effective and most appropriate for the family.
In this model, the therapist provides the caregiver with a set of goals, activities, and strategies to be implemented at home and integrated into daily routines. The therapist consults with the caregiver on an as-needed to discuss progress, problem solve, and provide coaching for implementation of activities and strategies. Consultation can be conducted in person, by phone, or over video chat. |
